How to watch IPTV on Android TV, Google TV and Android boxes
On Android TV and Google TV sets (Sony, Xiaomi, TCL, Philips and others) and Android boxes, Royal Play installs from an APK in minutes and is built for the remote.
Steps
- 1
Get the Downloader app
Open Google Play on the TV, search for Downloader (by AFTVnews) and install it.
- 2
Allow app installs
In Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources, turn it on for Downloader. The exact place differs a little between TVs.
- 3
Enter the code 7988100
In Downloader type 7988100 or royalplay.tv/apk, press Go, then Install when the download ends.
- 4
Open Royal Play
Your MAC address, device key and a QR code appear on screen.
- 5
Add your playlist
Scan the QR code or open royalplay.tv/en/upload and add your M3U link or Xtream login. Or choose “Add playlist here” and use the remote.
Tips
- No Google Play on the TV? Put the file from royalplay.tv/apk on a USB stick and install it with any file manager.
- The app has two players, ExoPlayer and VLC. If a channel will not play, switch in Settings → Player.
